Lime & Violet #29 : The One With Alcariel
Lime has disappeared. She's currently gallavanting around Florida, doing some yarn shopping and hanging in the sun, leaving the poor Miz V to fend for herself.
So message boarder and avid listener, Alcariel, steps in to fill the big limey shoes this week, bringing with her stories of going out in her underwear, her psycho fluffball of fur and rage, and a little bit about what happens when butts attack.
Do we attract the weird ones or what? :)
It's a looooong show this week (an hour and a half plus...see what happens when we don't talk for so long??) so there's no music, just a little sound file made by listener Michelle G and her stupendous love of cheese. Since we, too, love cheese, it was perfect. Thank you, Michelle!

Oh thank the yarn gods! A new show!!! I hope things are more normal. I must hold off and wait until the flight home to listen. What a great way to pass 1:30 hrs of the 12 hour trip.

i cant get the blasted thing to open! i have dl'ed it 3 times, and it just won't cooperate. and i've been such a good girl, too! le sigh
finally! i had to save it, to get it to play. oy! now to explain the file to the husbeast.
i beg to differ. this all went down right after the wedding. that was september. so it's been 6 months. and i'm thoroughly enjoying this episode.

I'm a complete dork, but I was running through a search on knit blogs and stopped by because I recently joined Secret Pal 10 (kinda like the secret santa thing when we were kids, but with more chance you won't get left with no gift at all) and one of the questions was about favourite scents... I listed four, and lime and violet are two. Again, dorkdorkdork, but here I am and you know I'll be back.

Yup. Also waiting for show notes. But I learned something valuable listening to the show: 1) Listen as soon as it's available (seconds, not hours); 2) Listen while at the computer so you can surf along as the yarn porn unfolds. I waited a couple days to listen and by then all the yarn they were talking about was gone!!! Boo hoo....And I was dying to see those colors! Ah well....
You guys rocked! Ok, Alcariel isn't Ms. Lime (but really WHO could fill those socks?) but she did fabulous! Go Alcariel! Now,Ms. Lime can enjoy her vaca without worry. Seriously.
